In December we took our final trip to the House of Hope, where we had the opportunity to minister to indigenous children during our last five months in Guatemala. During our "farewell" visit I shared with the kids that our leaving wasn't a final "good bye," but more like a "see you later."
Preparing for Honduras
The past several weeks we've been in North Carolina visiting with family and now we're sharing our vision for mission work in Honduras with area churches and new friends. So far we've had the chance to speak at the First Assembly of God in Monroe, Hermon Baptist Church in Waxhaw and Full Gospel Tabernacle in Graham. In the next several weeks we'll be presenting our vision to more churches and folks who have a heart for taking the Gospel to the nations, and we look forward to partnering with more individuals to advance the Kingdom. If you haven't seen the video about the work we'll be involved in, you can check it out here: http://vimeo.com/78786299. We are elated to have the chance to disciple these children in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Many of the children there are orphans. It is our heart's desire is that they will know what it's like to be sons and daughters by knowing God as their Heavenly Father.
Partners in the Gospel
We thank God "because of your partnership in the Gospel (Philippians 1:5)." We echo the words of the apostle Paul, who referred to the church at Philippi as his partners in spreading the Good News because of their faithful financial support. Thank you so much and may the Lord bless you abundantly for your generosity and faithfulness. If you aren't currently supporting with a missionary and would like to partner with us, please get in touch with us at syntax_gravy@hotmail.com. You can also give online at www.gotonations.org/atwood . Love to all!
